Vision Statement:

NHEO wants everyone (Lincoln County at first, then other communities to follow) to know they have one phone number to call, no matter what need they may have, if they don't have a close relative or friend or next door neighbor to call. And, we will have to reach out to get volunteers in those new areas so we will be able to provide those needs.

Core Values:

No one is greater than the least of others. We all have God-given talents and are expected to do HIS bidding by helping others without regard to social standing.

Mission Statement:

Everyone, at one time or another, needs help and should always have someone they can call when they do. The sole purpose for Neighbors Helping Each Other is to provide one phone number so every person will have "someone to call".

Everyone has a God-given skill or talent that can be useful to others in their time of need. NHEO will strive to make various assistance (see list below) available as quickly as possible and WITHOUT charge for the volunteer(s) time and labor. Every effort will be made to make any needed materials or supplies available to the client as inexpensively as possible by means of cost-sharing, merchant discounts or donations.

Volunteers may NOT request or hint at the acceptability of money, but may accept unsolicited tips from the client.

NHEO will strive to have help available for the following needs:
Driving (Doctor appointments, shopping, etc.), 4wd, winching, yard work, gardening, handyman, home repair, conversation, cleaning, cooking, computer, pest removal, knit/crochet, translation eng/spn, Psychology, auto service, emergency babysit. Other skills or services may be available from time-to-time.

Next door, across town or at the other end of the county we are still neighbors and can help each other.
